YES TO GETTING DRESSED UP
I’m alwaaays up for a night out that involves significant prep. I can happily do casual evenings, but there’s just something I love about a girls’ night out that involves rollers, 10 outfit options and an eyelash disaster (or three). It’s something to look forward to, even if the makeup fails are inevitable!
Here I was just heading for evening cocktails with family, but yeah, any excuse to get dressed up. I’m always looking for an opportunity to wear my Leopard Print Sandals right now, so expect to see them even more than you already have!
THE BALANCE BETWEEN SEXY AND ON TREND
I guess, these are two bases I like to cover. Aware that sounds suuuper try hard, but that’s the reality of it ha. I wanna feel like I look good, and sometimes that’s in a bodycon, or it’s in statement trousers and a cutesy top. Finding somewhere in-between this is where I can struggle – the balance of sexy and on trend. With these pink trousers though, I feel like I’m sorted! They’re a little different, but they look really sweet with something more fun, like the lacy bodysuit… This definitely feels like a good option for getting away with flashing a little more flesh on a night out!
The trousers are sadly sold out (boo!) but I’ve included a few similar ones below. They were around at Christmas, but I always like to invest in pieces I know I can wear all year long – even though they’ve got that shiny look going on, I think they still work well for summer! I’m wanting to get a similar fit to these for my holiday, maybe in a gingham print?
Weekends are my favourite time to give myself some TLC, and if that works with a day of pampering, an outfit that makes me happy and an evening with the girls then that’s what I’ll do. Saturday night pick me ups are always a yes!
