Something About Leopard Print

IT STARTED WITH THE SHOES

I’m blaming the Topshop Gradual Sandals, a pair I got a few weeks back and fell for big time. As far in love as you can fall with shoes. They’ve quickly become my go-to for jazzing up any outfit and so far I’ve worn them with jeans during daytime and an LBD for an evening out. I did have a bit of a disaster in a club while I was wearing them though – if you watch my Instagram story you may have seen my black & blue foot following an incident with a rather enthusiastically dancing bloke. Thankfully, the shoes lasted unscathed!

I’ve distracted myself talking about my hobbit foot. This post is actually to share a little more leopard print love, after making my second animal print purchase in the same month! H&M have these cuuute little crop tops in at the minute, with this print and other basic colours available… They’re about ยฃ5.99 – H&M basics around the ยฃ5 mark are always a yaaaas.

LITTLE DETAILS

Okay, a top is more of a venture into the unknown of patterns than shoes, but I’m still sticking to smaller details. So yeah, don’t expect me in a glam, leopard print dress anytime soon! I think I’ll mainly wear this top layered – I tried it with a white lacy shirt the other day and really liked it worn like that.

Next on the leopard print hit list? A bag. In dream land, it’d be the Gucci Sylvie, but in reality I’ll be keeping an eye out for something on the high street. I need to do some dupe hunting!
