I’LL ALWAYS LOVE AN EBAY BARGAIN
I have lost many an hour scrolling through eBay, buying unnecessary crap. In fact, last night I was browsing half asleep, before remembering this morning I’d ordered a swimsuit. In bright blue. Do I look like a bright blue kind of girl?! My aim whilst bleary eyed was black, not blue. Tip – don’t get spendy on eBay at 3am.
Excuuuusing that fudge up, I still think eBay is hella good for finding a bargain (I did a post a while back on my favourite search terms for fashunnny/blogger stuff if you’re interested). If I think something on the high street is overpriced, I’ll head straight to eBay to work out what search term I need to go with to find something similar. Usually after some digging around I can find a substitute.
If you follow me on Instagram, you’ll know that my latest eBay obsession has been anything mesh & embroidered. I knowww, I’ve overdone that trend! I didn’t mind becoming a bit of a guinea pig though – for a fiver here and there, I’m happy to try something out and see if it’s an eBay fail or not. Do it for the ‘graaaam. Hahaha. I’m kidding, but once I’d bought a couple of tops I thought I might as well go the whole hog, try a few more and share which are my favourites.

Really, I haven’t had a bad mesh top from eBay. I’ve probably bought about 5, spending no more than £7 a time, and all I’ve liked and worn! They’ve been mass produced, so I can’t bear parting with £30/£40 this sort of thing goes for on the high street. You can find just as nice for a fiver!
My favourite styles are all linked above, with some super detailed embroidered styles and more basic mesh layers. I actually love the really sheer and plain long sleeved top… It’s just the right thing for wearing with loads of different outfits!
I’ve included links to a few below that I can’t yet find dupes for, but by all means wait until eBay comes up with the goods! There are always new style getting added.
